The truth, of course, is that House Speaker Mark Ferradino (D-Denver) and Greg Wertsch staged the photo. It’s not a casual display of affection by the two men. See the DP blog. Quoting from it below:
Ferrandino said he knew that the picture would generate the reaction it has . . .
“I talk about Greg a lot but I’m very private when it comes to affection, and to see it on the front page was hard,” he said.
In other words, it was a political statement. Hmmm . . .
Here’s an example of Speaker Ferradino’s political leadership. I say he’s a snollygoster, but you can judge for yourself.
