How did prehistoric artists in a French cave create this painting, with NO help from the National Endowment for the Arts?

It’s a beautiful piece of work, too!

Read Boulder County arts organizations closely watch federal budget conversations from the Daily Camera. Excerpt follows:

How important are the arts?

That’s the question the federal government and Congress must reckon with in the face of a preliminary federal budget the White House proposed in mid-March.

The proposed budget calls for eliminating the National Endowment for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Institute of Museum and Library Services. If the three agencies were eliminated, it would free up $526 million for defense spending in the discretionary spending part of the federal budget, according to The Washington Post.

I guess those prehistoric artists never concerned themselves with the government (even if one had existed then) coming around with a sugar-teat for ’em, so they could take a break from being hunter-gatherers . . . I’m with Trump on this one.
