Transients in Boulder, CO are just plain rude and the do-gooders allow it

Okay, maybe I should explain: Yesterday morning after my shower, I put my dirty clothes into one of the open $1 washers and went to get some free laundry detergent at dorm supply; some youngster snatched my clothes out of the washer and overloaded it with his own stuff. I made him remove it, of course! Then this morning, an older bum kept turning off the free dryers and people, including me, had a difficult time getting our clean clothes dry. BTW, it generally takes me two mornings to wash AND dry, because the lazy characters who stay overnight can’t get their own dirty clothes done before 6AM, when we hardy outdoor-types come into Boulder Shelter for the Homeless. It’s a total waste of time and energy complaining to staff in most cases, although I applaud the female staff member who addressed the issue I brought to her attention yesterday — some drunk guy was showing about six inches of his “plumber’s crack” and he’d also pissed on himself . . .
