Boulder could see almost a foot of snow over the next 24 hours as the city remains in a week-long winter storm, according to the National Weather Service.
Today’s forecast calls for a high of 24 and 1 to 2 inches of snow during the day and another 5 to 9 possible overnight. The overnight low is expected to be near 3, with windchill as low as -4.
Since I’ve had to doff my thermal underwear because of a Plague of Boils, perhaps due to the polyester material irritating my skin over these past weeks, I’m thankful there will be a layer of snow for insulation in my burrow tonight; it’s really quite effective at keeping the temps up to a comfortable level.
