See the story in the Daily Camera: Bridge House benefit celebrates homeless Boulder artists. My comment on the DC website is copied below:

I do NOT support Bridge House, not at all, because it’s evident to me that they enable the worst-behaved transients from Denver and elsewhere, who have no long-term ties to Boulder, CO.

I’ve lived here continuously since early 2008, and the transient instigators of wrongdoing have continued to increase in number. BTW, their victims are almost always other homeless people.

Having said that, I’ll acknowledge that it’s FAR BETTER for Bridge House to promote homeless artists as a benefit event instead of exploiting the deaths of homeless people (who happened to pass away outdoors) by a media blitz, as we observed a year or so ago.
