Over the course of the past few years, Mr. Whitfield has come and gone and come again to Boulder Shelter for the Homeless — and it’s a fair assumption that law enforcement authorities really have no clue where he might be on any given day.

My question is this: Why is BSH providing a haven for so many registered sex offenders, most of whom are child molesters?

It is simply of matter of policy for Boulder Shelter for the Homeless to accept these predators, most of whom have assaulted children. There is no requirement under the law for any homeless shelter/services provider to accommodate registered sex offenders as clients. In fact, most shelters in America today refuse them.
